By installing Climb Stop to your middle fence railing, you help to create a non climbable barrier which can help to prevent children and dogs from getting a foothold or pawhold and climbing or jumping over your fence, this could prevent children and dogs from climbing into your pool area or worse, outside of the property potentially causing significant harm or injury.

Climb Stop is made from a durable heat resistant PVC plastic and will not bow and split. Timber can move over time, become rough, and bow and split. This can cause a 5mm gap or more to emerge, creating a climbable surface. Climb Stop can also be removed and used at a new property.

One pack of Climb Stop comes with 10 x 950 lengths, which is enough to cover 9.5 metres of fence, available in smaller pack sizes also.

Climb Stop has a 60 degree angle and flat, slippery surface. When fixed to a fence, this means a child has no edge to grab onto or gain a foothold on the middle rail, creating a hard to climb barrier.

Yes. Climb Stop has been designed with a 60 degree, slippery PVC plastic finish to create a non-climbable surface, which is a requirement for pool fence safety compliance (see the QBCC’s pool fence safety standards).

Climb Stop is designed to be easy to install. Lengths come predrilled and buttonhead screws are supplied in every pack. All you’ll need are a screw driver or power drill with a Phillips head bit, a hacksaw or grinder with cutting disc and a tape measure and pencil.

Climb Stop is suitable for fence rails 20mm to 60mm in width
